Our History

Wiggle started out as Butlers Cycles, a small independent bike shop established in Portsmouth, UK in 1920. In 1999, Butlers Cycles went online with the launch of wiggle.co.uk.

By focusing on providing unmatched value and great customer service, Wiggle rapidly took off in the UK and soon began expanding around the globe. We have now grown to become a global leader in the online retail of equipment for cycling, running and swimming, selling to over 70 countries in 10 languages and 14 currencies.

We occupy over 85,000 sq. ft. of warehouse space and stock over 2 million items!

Replenisher

Title: Replenisher

Wiggle CRC are looking for an enthusiastic Replenisher to manage the stock levels at the correct level to achieve or beat the sales forecasts.  You must have a good understanding of the supply base and manage the placement of product orders, and inbound stocks.  Customer product availability is paramount, and a good understanding of the product sale profiles is desirable. 

You will own the overall stock levels in the business and maintain this at the most efficient level to optimise product availability.  You must challenge and constantly improve the supplier efficiencies such as improved lead times, lower MOQ’s, more efficient pack sizes etc. 

What will I be doing?

  • Placement of purchase orders / stock call off’s from the supply base
  • Working to improve the overall replenishment parameters from the suppliers (such as lead times, MOQ’s etc)
  • Ensuring deliveries are on time and in full
  • Liaising with the supply base to gain accurate and honest communications
  • Working closely with colleagues in Operations and Goods In to ensure an efficient supply chain
  • Maintaining replenishment system parameters accurately
  • Resolve supplier issues efficiently and effectively

What experience would we like you to have?

  • We are looking for someone ideally from a retail background looking to start their career within Merchandising, however this is not essential
  • Enthusiastic and determined
  • A strong communicator and negotiator
  • Retail experience is desired but not necessary
  • Excel experience is desired but not necessary

Bicycle Technician

Chain Reaction Cycles are part of the Wiggle family. We have a rare opportunity to join our team of bicycle mechanics based at our retail store in Boucher Road, Belfast.

Responsibilities and Duties

The role will require you to build high standards of bike repair and maintenance whilst assisting with the smooth running, efficiency and quality control within our workshop. This will include:

  • Providing expert advice, guidance and support to customers face-to-face.
  • Assembly and set up of high quality bikes
  • Servicing of bikes, suspension systems and hydraulic disk brakes to a very high standard.
  • Monitoring and assessing quality of completed bikes using quality checklists
  • Liaising closely with sales assistants regarding customer orders.
  • Ensuring appropriate security procedures are followed
  • Provide support to the wider team with the opening and closure of the shop.
  • Maintaining high standards of housekeeping in all shop and storage areas.
  • Ensuring compliance with all health & safety regulations.

Knowledge, skills and experience:

  • Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent (inc Maths & English at grade c or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in bike repair and maintenance.
  • Advanced knowledge of bikes and bicycle parts.
  • 6 months experience in a customer retail environment is desirable

Wiggle CRC’s implementation of an Enterprise Data Management function is delivering a joined up, strategic approach to all data initiatives. The Data Architect is a critical role in its success, bringing commonality and structured thinking for how data is stored, shared, accessed, transferred and consumed by the organisation.

What will I be doing?

You will be responsible for standardising the current environment, optimising it to drive data availability and innovating for the data needs of tomorrow. A key partner to the data protection and analytics functions, a well-designed architecture will ensure compliance and embed data-as-a service within the enterprise. Familiarity with leading architectural methodologies such as TOGAF are a must as the role will play an important part in defining the internal architectural frameworks and ways of working.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Document as-is architecture and to-be architectures (including gap analysis)
  • Map the data flow creating data lineage views for the organization
  • Identify and apply business capabilities in line with APQC PCF definitions and incorporate into architectural artefacts
  • Support the definition of Enterprise Architecture principles with specific ownership of data accessibility and sharing principles
  • Understand data requirements of the organisation, design and deliver innovative tailored solutions and implement enterprise scale data projects where required
  • Refine data warehouse and integration design to help drive accessibility, availability and accuracy
  • Create and manage architectural roadmaps including transition steps

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Line managing an Assistant Financial Accountant
  • Project work consisting of the Group’s strategic and regulatory requirements, including the implementation of a customs warehouse, making tax digital, and expansion into a range of territories
  • Preparation of the UK annual financial statements of the Group under IFRS/FRS 101, including the Mapil Topco consolidated accounts and the Mapil Midco 2 non-statutory sub-consolidation

You will support IT Operations as a senior member of the Production Services Team, managing and maintaining IT services and network infrastructure across the WiggleCRC business and to be a leading 3rd line technical resource. You are accountable for ensuring IT can meet all SLAs for incidents, requests and up-time for any services that are time dependant and maintain the PCI environment.

What will I be doing?

  • The team supports and maintains services for 4 offices, 3 datacentres and 3 warehouses.
  • Support/manage and monitor over 350 servers, physical and virtual.
  • Support/manage and monitor over 50 network devices.
  • Support and monitor the Wiggle website, which is a 24/7/365 critical service.
  • The Production Service Team support all user journeys: Customer, Supplier, Product, IT, HR and Finance.   
  • Multiple environments, including Production, Pre-Prod and DR on physical, virtual and cloud platforms.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Fulfilling a senior technical role in the Production Services team, providing support to the business and knowledge-transfer to team-members in their daily work and activities.

What will I be doing?

What will I be doing?

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the ongoing strategic evolution of our Customer Service Centre - including people development, IT and infrastructure investment, cross group efficiencies and overall long-term profitability
  • Producing relevant, actionable insight that enables us to better serve our customers, reduce contact and improve the customer journey
  • Champion and voice of the customer to the wider business balancing customer needs with business requirements. Increase promotors and decrease detractors to achieve a year on year increase in NPS and customer satisfaction
  • Accountable for the efficient operational management of our Customer service Centre and for it achieving its key performance metrics
  • Leading the Customer Support team and having accountability for ensuring that the team is fully recruited and well supported and engaged.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • You are a customer service and experience specialist with extensive operational experience leading customer service teams
  • A credible leader who has led large teams of at least 100 people and able to demonstrate experience of having delivered a culture of continuous improvement in service, efficiency and productivity
  • Ability to be comfortable working in an Omni channel customer service environment and be able to evidence experience of digital innovation and technology enablement
  • It would be advantageous you held experience of leading strategic projects that delivered operational transformation (for example re-structuring a customer service centre)

What will I be doing?

As a Mid QA Engineer you will assist the QA team in delivering on all aspects of quality in the delivery of our applications. The role will be focused on business change, the change may require either the introduction of new Wiggle systems, enhancements to existing systems and integration with 3rd party systems. Within a small development team, the role will require supporting other engineers (QA and development) and business users in all matters of quality assurance.

  • Test Automation (C# primarily. Experience of Ruby/Watir would be beneficial)
  • Manual testing of software changes and defect fixes
  • Working with the business to define requirements
  • Keeping test notes and test related documentation up to date
  • Working on larger strategic projects, in order to deliver large scale operational improvements. Typical team mix of junior, mid and senior developers and QA's, reporting to Lead QA.
  • Being an integral part of standard business change projects.
  • Day to day change projects of small to medium size, required to support for the ongoing development of the company
  • Delivering short timescale business change (around 2 weeks or less).
  • Develop communication skills not just with peers and other members of development team but right across project teams (PM's, BA's) and wider business functions (users).
  • Grow knowledge of best practices for test design and approaches. Take responsibility for utilising senior members of the team in order to attain this knowledge, and personal investigation into new ideas as well as established best practices.

What experience would we like you to have?

  • At least 2 years of industry experience in the field of QA, with demonstrable skills in following areas:
  • Writing efficient automation tests directly in a coding language (C# preferable, Ruby experience is also beneficial) and reviewing automation test results
  • Excellent manual feature testing skills
  • Exploratory testing
  • Experience of working in Agile team

What will I be doing?

You will lead the IT Service Delivery Function, delivering a market-leading level of service to customers and colleagues across a broad and complex IT estate. What experience would we like you to have?

  • Incident & problem management, change and release management, service desk management, service delivery management, supplier relationship management
  • An ability to keep abreast of new and emerging technologies, to ensure Wiggle avails itself of technologies that will maintain its market leader position.
  • Excellent and inspirational inter personal skills combined with an ability to build relationships and rapport with staff and colleagues, honest and open style.
  • Financial acumen in order to effectively manage budgets including EBITDA and Capex vs Opex costs.

Are you an experienced IT Service Desk Analyst with exceptional customer service skills?

We are looking for an IT Service Desk Analyst to join our fun loving and highly professional team based at our office in Mallusk. Our Service Desk team support over 1000 Wiggle CRC staff and deal with on average 25 queries each, per day, in order to allow our business to run smoothly.

What will I be doing?

Our IT Service Desk is an integral part of the Wiggle CRC business and acts as a gateway for IT users to engage with the IT department. The work completed within this team ensures that all staff at Wiggle CRC have what they need to perform within their role.

Roles and Responsibilities

·           Performing first time fix on incidents raised to the team in a professional manner.

·           Provide first line telephone and ticket-based IT and application support to the Wiggle business

·           Performing service requests raised to the team including accounts set up, software installations and physical desk moves.

·           Manage the change management process and attend a Change Acceptance Board when required.

·           Pro-actively identify problems and trends and propose solutions and recommendations to optimise systems performance and stability.

·           Renew or procure services on behalf of the IT department where required by following the purchase order process

·           Provide reports on IT performance to senior members of the Wiggle business.

 What experience would we like you to have?

·       Windows 7 and Windows 10 administration experience.

·           Basic network and / or database skills (SQL)

·           Active Directory and Office 365 exposure.

·           Sharepoint

·           Knowledge and understanding of ITIL.

You will be accountable for the eBay P&L and will manage the eBay relationship, commercial agreements, stock flow, people and process.

Who we're looking for:

A dynamic, forward thinking and commercially astute attitude is required to succeed in this role. Confidence in managing stakeholders internally and externally to drive volumes and reward for the business.
